Sivaruban Kandasamy (SR & Co)
Sivaruban is the founder and Managing Partner of SR & Co (AF 2367). Prior to SR &Co, hewas a Director with a big 4 accounting firm in the external audit division. He also served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director in a Company listed in the Singapore Exchange.
Sivaruban has 20 years of experience in servicing clients involved in various industries such as IT, plantations, hotels, education, healthcare, retail, airlines, construction, property development, shipping, trading and manufacturing, transportation, automotive, microelectronics, oil and gas, hospitality as well as nongovernmental organisations. He served clients locally and from other jurisdictions which includes USA, UK, Singapore, Indonesia, Bangladesh, UAE, India and Turkey.
He has led several share valuations, statutory audits and restructuring exercises for major public listed companies and regional group audits. Sivaruban has also significant experience in managing several Initial Public Offer exercises as Reporting Accountants, which includes reviewing budgets and profit forecast, long form/ short form accountants report for the purpose of submission to the Securities Commission.
Apart from leading share valuations engagements, large group statutory audits and restructuring exercises, Sivaruban has also varied experience in financial due diligence, review of profit forecast and projections, internal audit and consultancy. In addition, he has in depth knowledge in internal control and financial reporting.
